i believe in miracle whip
my head and body feel tired already. i accomplished a lot in the office today, but still trying to catch up rather than just keeping up. and according to damien, “it’s easier to keep up than catch up.” hopefully by chinese new year i’ll be all caught up and i can make the resolution to keep up…
usually after work i take a nap or unwind by watching jeopardy! or something, but today i studied spanish (and ate a banana), talked on the phone, and cleaned up around the house. i didn’t get a chance to rest my brains (er, pea brain) and bones before i scooted off to kung fu class. i was happy to return to class, and my kung fu was okay even though i was tired and rusty. but tall steve would say all of my moves were wrong.
one of my kung fu classmates treated me to green tea and a chat after class. we relaxed at a local cafe and just talked about our lives and…my blog. turns out he reads this often. i think he just wanted to be in it today. haha. he’s up to date on all the inane happenings of my life, and all the important people too. people like you. it was nice to chat and catch up on things because in class we just try to hit each other.
this blog is weird. i just renewed the domain for another two years. i’ve had this for so many years, and it’s really quite a silly and egocentric little journal, but i have some good reasons to keep it too. i’m always flattered when someone likes anything i write here. especially when i address important political issues, such as the vulgarity of having bananas for breakfast.
tomorrow is wednesday. i cannot wait to see my family. and i did not give charlotte a bath this week. my mom will not like that.
i’m off to sleep though.
