wednesday nights are still family nights. it’s cute. my brother, who is a college student, said some people in his class invited him to join their wednesday-night study group but he declined because wednesday nights are family dinner nights. one of them asked him, “oh, where’s your family flying in from?” haha. i like the fact that our family nights are important to him. well, maybe they are just more fun. i always bring wine, beer, and dessert. tonight we all drank bass ale and ate cannoli from the italian bakery. i never had cannoli before this. it was good, but not my style.
bass ale is really good again. for a while i stopped liking it but now it’s back as one of my (and my mom’s) favorites. also pairs excellently with fish. always reminds me of snowboarding with miki too. that was a great day.
i did some kettlebell exercises when i got home. i viewed some how-to videos on youtube because i was unsure about how to perform the “windmill” and i guess i’ve been executing it with incorrect form this whole time. awesome.
it got late fast. i will read and sleep now. it’s really 2:04.
oh, the thing about henry james and other works of high-achieving art is that they feel radioactive. their effects last a long time. sometimes harmful to perceptions of one’s own experiences. another example, i heard “pictures of you” on the radio yesterday morning. what a song. surely it can damage.
