it wears me out

Filed under: what's really going on — realjennykim @ 12:33 pm

After work on Friday I went to the department store to find some nice tall boots. I found a style that I liked and then tried the floor model on.  the boot looked marvelous and was very comfortable. It was a size too large though. An Armenian woman trying on boots in the chair next to me checked out the boot on my leg and then went and grabbed the other identical floor model for herself. haha. so it must be good. unfortunately, the store did not have my size and other stores in the area did not either. i have been keeping my eyes open for other great boots, but haven’t seen any. I could have worn them with anything and be chill, as opposed to “killer b00ts” where people would look at me and think, “oh that girl thinks she’s so hot.” haha. maybe i should just get them even though they are a size too large. ?. “oh that girl has huge feet man.”

This weekend has been pretty chill. The weather has been nice. I hung out on lake avenue yesterday and cruised around town. I also bought a green plastic watering can for $1 at the fake plastic out of the closet store.

I watched my VHS tape of Ethan frome, as I do every winter. It is depressing but I love it.

The clutch in my WRX exacerbates my bad knee. It is so stiff, that after I’m done driving my knee pops out and hurts. I kind of really do hope that girl goes to hell. What else can i do.

oh yeah, it is new year’s eve. i guess it is time to party or something. have fun and be safe.

people die in three’s

Yesterday I felt my arms and I felt some arm muscles, but today they are gone.

Tonight one of the gym regulars said, “you brought your own jump rope” to me, but I was scrolling through my ipod playlist and i pretended I didn’t hear him. haha! i did it for you. ?.

i got a sideache while running on the treadmill and did a weenie workout. I hopped on one of the elliptical machines and it was so boring. My toes fell asleep. No wonder people hate exercising. Also, I gained two pounds.

Oh, I saw a large girl wearing tall boots today. They looked kind of funny to me but I guess she thought she looked hot/okay, or else she wouldn’t have been wearing them, right. So that is awesome. Self-confidence is hot. I may get some boots. Or running shoes! haha.

I am so glad it’s Friday. I don’t know what I want to do this weekend. I want to go somewhere new.

dusty brown boots in the corner

Ugh, it got late.  I have just been looking at boots.  Not looking at cowboy boots while you’re getting mugged or raped, but actually looking at boots online.  I may treat myself to a pair of nice tall boots.  Just like the ones I never had.  Girls in tall boots always look like they think they’re so hot though.  I guess the trick is to actually look hot in them, but that seems hard.  I may just get some new running shoes instead.  *sigh*

I need to get in my bed now.  I barely slept at all last night.  Tonight might be the same.

robots and power grape drink

Filed under: what's really going on — realjennykim @ 12:30 am

I had today off and just spent the entire day and night on the couch. I woke up feeling sort of sick so I just watched television and ate holiday leftovers and treats. I wanted to go running but my joints felt achy, probably from bearing all the extra holiday weight. Also, I bit the inside of my own cheek because my face got fatter. haha. I slept all day.

I managed to do a little bit of the total gym but my elbows and shoulders were hurting so I didn’t do very many reps. I took a hot bath and cleaned up the kitchen. Now I am drinking tea and I feel a little better.

The Korean roomba is pretty good. i like watching it but sometimes I get frustrated because it gets “trapped” between the legs of tables and chairs and does a bunch of three-point turns to get out, when it could have just gone a little farther left or something and gotten out in two seconds. but i am not complaining. He cleaned my house while I just sat and watched Magnum Pi and hawaii five-o and ate kettle corn. I guess I could have used the remote control to help him, but using it seems like too much work. haha.

Oh, I also played with my new jack la lanne power juicer. I made a cocktail with fresh grapefruit, orange, and clementine juice. It was delicious. I prefer eating whole fruits because I’m a fiber junky ?. but I think it will be nice to drink some carrots and kale. I suppose I could save the fibrous pulp and cook something with it but I’m not that hardcore.

I’m going to rest now. I hope I feel better in the morning, but I doubt it since it’s back to work.

what a holidays are

merry christmas, you all.  i am still in my pajamas.  :D

Yesterday charlotte and i came over to my mom’s house to cook and be merry with the family, but when I got there, nobody was there.  Just like on Thanksgiving.  So i opened the wine and ate fine ripe cheeses by myself.  My brother and edna arrived shortly and we drank silk nog and snacked.  it was so fun.  Then my mom came home from work and we had a nice fat meal.  I drank so much wine, my head was hurting.  We opened our gifts after dinner.

I received wonderful gifts including very nice wine glasses, a really special laptop bag, and a robotic vacuum cleaner (charlotte’s favorite).  It seemed like everyone enjoyed the gifts I got for them.  My brother is so spoiled.  haha.  Today is Christmas day and I’ve just been continuing the feeding frenzy (ugh) and being lazy.  After some more traditional eating I will be heading over to visit Jonny’s family and to wish them all a happy holiday.  It’s not over yet.

I hope you are all enjoying your Christmas holiday!

saturday before christmas monday

i went to the store (pavilions; everything was in stock) today. I saw the twins who i used to be really good friends with in junior high school and nothing with in high school. they looked perfect. absolutely gorgeous hot asian twins. i didn’t talk to them, but i admired their beauty like a creepo. haha. usually when i see people from high school i notice that they got fat and frumpy but once in a while i see people who look amazing now. and pretty much most of the time, frumpy or not, they are people who look like people i want nothing to do with.

Right now I’m drinking silk nog + skim milk + spiced rum. It’s good.

My mom requested that I make lowfat tiramisu for tomorrow’s dinner. So I did that today.

And then I relaxed and thought about heavy whipping cream for the new year.

bye-bye wine-stain rash lady

Filed under: what's really going on — realjennykim @ 3:48 pm

wine-stain rash lady is moving out today. I *just* spoke with her briefly, all fake stylee. “oh wow that’s great good for you good luck oh yeah”  heh heh.

I *just* got back from the company party. It was fun. I drank more Jack Daniels than I anticipated, thanks to Luke. I work with nice people.

luke and i; denise and i; they are cool work peeps:

the most wonderful time of the year is actually summer

this morning my clicker that opens the gate to the parking garage wasn’t working. so i went to unit 15 and woke up my neighbor and good friend takashi. i borrowed his clicker and returned it this evening, after i put a fresh battery in mine. but even with the fresh battery, it still doesn’t work. i’m parked in guest parking tonight. if wine-stain rash lady calls the towing company, i’m going to bong sao her head off. takashi rules. it is nice having friends in the complex.

i went to the gym and ran five miles on the treadmill and beat my best time. i’m not that excited about it though because i ate so many cookies and so much junk food today it just feels like i was paying off a debt. man, if i didn’t eat all those cookies, i’d be so rich.

energy ball 5000 is in full effect. walking on arroyo parkway in the cold, being alive kind of ruled. oh don’t hate.

Tomorrow is a short day at work. And then it’s off to the company christmas party, which is always a good time. i am going to wear a dress (not the black frilly one; too gaudy; jeez).

After the party I’m going to party. Happy Friday!

ripple effect

Filed under: what's really going on — realjennykim @ 12:09 am

I shopped again today, but just at the grocery store. I picked up a few bottles of wine. Two for jonny, a pinot noir and a cabernet. We decided that we would just exchange bottles of wine in lieu of christmas gifts this year. And if we drink them together, who could ask for anything more. I also bought a bottle of beaujolais for the Christmas eve dinner at my mom’s. Better than ripple! haha.

I went to the post office today and a little black kid with long eyelashes selling candy told me that he liked my car. And then when I was leaving he asked me all these questions about my mods. I asked him what his favorite car was and he said the skyline. And then he asked me if I have a brother and what my brother thinks of my car compared to his car. haha. I laughed. I bought a see’s chocolate bar to help raise money for his church. I wanted to ask him if he likes skateboarding, but I remembered skateboarding ruins lives, so I’m glad I didn’t. As I was driving away he waved at me. I think he was a good kid.

I didn’t do much else. A little bit of Total Gym and that’s about it. My muscles felt tired and Eminem said Britney Spears has shoulders like a man so i don’t know what’s up.
